Tarot Card Readings for Fun but Accurate

I should have done this a long time ago but it's just now that the idea came to my mind.  I do Tarot card readings either online or in person, whichever you, the readee, chooses.  I wasn't that confident before the event I was part of because of Herword.com a few years ago.  That's why I entitled the post as "First-time Tarot Card Reading Event."

Now, I'm ready to start this Tarot card reading because I am blessed with that talent of sharing what I know with others with the help of my guides, usually, they're angels helping me in my every reading.  But as I always guarantee people that only God knows what the future holds for us, just like what I wrote in my column in Herword.com, Mystic Readings by Felix.  Here is an example of that:

Actually, if you want to have your readings, you can go to my and my sister's page, yes, there's two of us, in case you'd want your handwriting to be analyzed, too, and she was also part of Herword.com's event at the same time I was.  Here is our page:

But if you are interested, just drop us a line through the Facebook page and I will gladly entertain your queries.

Chef Laudico Guevarra's Grand Launching

Going to Chef Laudico Guevarra's grand launching was not something I was expecting to attend.  It was posted in the Pinoy Bloggers FB page.  Thanks to Ms. Ma Joy Calipes-Felizardo, I got to attend this very momentous event.

Present during the ribbon cutting were very important people.  Check out the photos below.

From left, Senator JV Ejercito, Chef Rolando Laudico, Chef Jacqueline Laudico, Mayor Guia Gomez and Vice Mayor Francis Zamora.

Bobby Yan was the emcee for the afternoon.  Beside him, one of the finalists of X-Factor Philippines, Mark Mabasa.

Miss Philippines Earth, Miss Philippines-Fire, Miss Philippines-Air and Miss Eco Tourism were also present.

Not to be missed are the paintings done by artist Vincent Padilla with the theme "Time Taken by Brushstrokes."  Here is one of those paintings.

Also, Vincent did a painting of Chef Rolando and Chef Jacqueline while posing for him.  And finished it right then and there.

Artist Vincent's 9-year-old daughter, Cezanne Vermeer Padilla, played classical tunes and wowed the crowd with her amazing talent.

There were actually two ribbon-cutting photo ops this blogger experienced.  The second one was where the buffet was served.

Of course, the event wouldn't be complete without the buffet that was prepared for the guests.  Mayor Guia Gomez takes the first serving of one of the many delicious and delectable dishes.

Here are the dishes that were carefully prepared by Guevarra's by Chef Laudico.  These are just a few of them.  There were more than meets the eye and your dining experience would never be the same again.

Halabos na Hipon

Chili Crabs

Crispy Pork Pochero

Pakbet Bagnet

Seafood Palabok

The Mango Crepe

While we were having our taste of the delicious food, there were dancers entertaining the guests swaying to old tunes with their very nice costumes of the historical times, a la Maria Clara style, which really were eye-catching.

To sum it all up, I'm sure you'll find Guevarra's by Chef Laudico a place to be if you want you and your family to have that very homey ambiance, thanks to Spanish and Chinese influenced interiors and enjoying the food of your choice to your heart's delight.

Or if you have a certain theme for your company which is very 1940-ish in nature, this is the place to be as there are function rooms that could serve your company's needs well.

If you want to have your important occasions held there, their rates vary from Buffet rates and Kids' Buffet rates.  For the buffet rates, Weekday Lunch (Monday to Friday), it's P399 + 10% service charge.  Weekday Dinner (Monday to Thursday), P499 + 10% service charge.  Weekends (Friday Dinner to Sunday Dinner), P599 + 10% service charge.

For Kids, this is actually cool, for kids three feet and below are free.  For kids three feet to four feet, 50%.  Kids at four feet and above at regular rates.  Don't you think that's a fair price?

Go ahead and give Guevarra's by Chef Laudico a try and you won't regret it.  The restaurant is located at 387 P. Guevarra St. cor. Argonne St., Addition Hills, San Juan.  Their numbers are 705 1874 | 705 1811 | 0917 311 2222.  You can also email them at cheflaudicoguevarra@gmail.com.

The Apprentice Asia Blogger's Night Event

Wow, I wasn't expecting that Celina Le Neindre nor Jonathan Yabut, both Philippine contestants from The Apprentice Asia TV show, to tweet back to me and tell me there's going to be a blogger's night last Friday.  That was like a day before the event.  I was busy all right with two transcription jobs at hand.  But I told myself, 'Hey, this is your chance to meet and greet them and have that photo op too.'

So, I went to the event and got to meet them at Papa John's Tomas Morato.  I was so excited to see them in person because I was just one of those who were watching them on TV and rooting for them.  But this time, I'd see them in person!  I thought that was so cool!

I was also surprised that Jonathan himself reminded me of the interview that I mentioned in one of my tweets.  Yes, I know, they're basically celebrities these days with all the media tour they've been doing.  But as much as I thought they'd ignore me, no, they didn't.  They'd tweet back.

In this event, they told us their experiences how it was really a journey for them to be with Tony Fernandes, the CEO who makes the decision of who to fire or who will stay.  So their 'life' depended on him.  His two advisors, Mark Lankester and Kathleen Tan, were basically the eyes and ears of Mr. Fernandes on every task they're assigned to work on.

I would have more to say about Celina and Jonathan when I've finally gotten to interview them both, after the competition, when they're not that haggard and all.  This event was made possible by Papa John's Tomas Morato and AXN.

It was really good to see them and talk with them and have the photo op that I was talking about.  Seeing them talk about their side of the story even made it real and exciting.  I have videos of them and will post them on YouTube and you'll get to know what's on their minds.  But here, I hope photos will suffice.

Here's a link of their invite to watch The Apprentice Asia on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.  I'm sure it's going to be another thrilling episode.
